Why do I need a wedding planner?

When you hire a wedding planner to help with your event you are hiring someone with expertise & experience in the field. You hire someone with vendor connections & a creative mind for design & execution. We handle every detail from start to finish & help you through the process with vendor recommendations, budget planning, & day of coordination which allows you to sit back & enjoy your engagement!

What is the difference between a wedding  Planner & a wedding coordinator?

There is so much confusion between these two roles & knowing the difference is vital to your event!

A wedding PLANNER is a person whose profession is the planning & organization of weddings. A planner is often brought on by a couple at the beginning (our full planning package) or close to the beginning (our partial planning package) of the planning process. A planner is involved with all the decision making to build your entire event. This includes finding venues, booking vendors, tracking budget, finding accommodations, etc.

A wedding COORDINATOR is a person who oversees execution of all wedding plans on the big day. A coordinator is often brought on in the weeks/months (our month-of coordination package) out & take all the pieces that have been planned & then executes them on the day of. This will include finalizing timelines, communicating with vendors, & running the show on the day of the event.

So, what does this mean for you? When you choose ANY of our packages day-of coordination is included! We believe that plans are best executed by the ones who make them so we work with you until the very end. We are committed to making your day a seamless & stress-free event!

How far in advance should I book your services?

We recommend booking services as early as possible to ensure date availability & ample time for event planning. Even if you are only booking Coordination it is best to find your coordinator as early as possible as dates fill up to two years out.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is designed to ensure fairness & transparency while upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional service to all our clients. Upon booking our services, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date, demonstrating mutual commitment & reserving our resources exclusively for your event. Additionally, a retainer equal to the remaining balance is due 8 weeks before the event day to finalize arrangements. As we allocate significant time, effort, & resources to each event upon booking, we do not offer refunds for cancellations. We appreciate your understanding of our policy, which allows us to maintain the highest standards of service for all our clients. Should you have any questions or require further clarification, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team.

Do you work with a specific list of vendors or can we choose our own? 

I believe in giving you the freedom to choose vendors that align perfectly with your style & vision. While I do have a curated list of trusted vendors I love working with I am always open to sourcing & collaborating with vendors that you have in mind. My goal is to build a team of professionals who can bring your wedding dreams to life whether they are a part of my personal network or your favorites!

What should we expect during our consultation call? 

Our first consultation is all about getting to know each other & exploring your vision for your big day. During this meeting, whether it's in person or virtual, we’ll talk about your love story, your style, & the overall vibe you’re hoping to create. I’ll walk you through the different planning packages I offer & help you determine which one best fits your needs. You can expect a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where I’ll answer any questions you have, provide guidance, & discuss how we can bring your dream wedding to life. It’s also an opportunity for you to see if we’re the right fit for each other.

Travel fees vary by location, & we’ll outline all the details clearly in your custom proposal.
